About me

I am rebuilding my career in tech with discipline, practical skills and real-world experience.

My path into technology is not the typical straight line. I come from a strong hospitality and management background, and I am now focused on moving into web development, software development and IT support.

My story

I am not trying to pretend my background is something it is not. My experience is a mix of technical education, practical work, people management and problem solving under pressure.

Where I come from

I have spent years working in hospitality, growing through different roles and responsibilities. That environment taught me how to stay organised, communicate clearly, solve problems quickly and perform under pressure.

Hospitality also gave me strong business awareness. I understand customers, operations, teamwork, deadlines, service quality and the importance of being reliable every day.

Where I am going

My goal is to build a long-term career in technology. I am currently rebuilding and strengthening my technical skills through hands-on projects in web development, software fundamentals and IT systems.

I am especially interested in practical digital tools: apps, dashboards, websites and systems that solve real problems for people and businesses.

My advantage

I bring more than technical study. I bring maturity, work ethic, customer focus, leadership experience and the ability to handle pressure. My aim is to combine those strengths with strong technical skills and become a reliable junior developer or IT professional.

Education and technical foundation

My technical background gives me a foundation to build from. I am currently refreshing, updating and applying that knowledge through portfolio projects.

Diploma in Software Development

Foundation in programming, software logic, problem solving and development concepts, including exposure to languages such as Java and C++.

Diploma in IT, Networking & Telecommunications

Foundation in IT systems, networking concepts, troubleshooting, telecommunications and technical support.

Diploma in Management

Strong background in leadership, team coordination, operations, communication and workplace responsibility.

Self-directed learning

Currently improving my skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, web development, software fundamentals and practical project building.

How I work

These are the strengths I bring from my previous experience into technology.

01

Practical problem solving

I focus on useful solutions, not overcomplicated theory. A good tool should be clear, reliable and easy to use.

02

Pressure-tested work ethic

Years in hospitality taught me how to keep moving, stay calm and deliver even when the situation is busy or difficult.

03

Customer-first mindset

I understand that technology is not just about code. It is about people, usability, communication and solving real needs.
